New management announcement at NCS Fluid Handling Systems Inc.
We are very excited and pleased to announce that effective Monday March 28th, we welcomed Shawn Mitchell to the NCS family. Shawn has joined the team in the position of BC Branch Manager and supports not only the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley, Vancouver, and Vancouver Island area but all the NCS brand with his professional knowledge and technical skills. We are very excited to have the 18 years of relevant pumping, system design and business experience that Shawn brings to NCS Fluid Handling Systems Team. His solutions minded approach is a perfect fit for the NCS team philosophy and is what the BC regional marketplace has been asking for.
Shawn has been involved in the water pumping and fluid transfer industry since 2004. He has operated and designed some of the largest bypass systems for storm & sanitary systems in Canada as well as creek bypasses & rivers diversions. Shawn brings a strong technical and operations background in ground water management, designing deep wells systems as well as well-point dewatering systems. Shawn has a broad range of industry experience that covers most of Western Canada in fluid transfer systems supporting fluid handling solutions in pulp & paper mills, mines, energy and in the oil & gas industry.
Shawn has a passion for being a part of a strong team and enjoys a strict work out schedule, family time & carries a decent golf handicap.
Shawn will be the primary point of contact for the regional BC branch activities, supporting all projects around sewer bypass, well-point dewatering, water treatment, sediment control, water pumping and related industrial water pumping services. Being based out of Langley, BC., Shawn will work very close with Adam MacDonald and the balance of the NCS Fluid Handling Systems team as NCS expands products and services in support of our clients in the Fraser Valley, Lower Mainland, and Vancouver marketplace.
