Canada's Largest tank of its kind

NCS Fluid Handling Systems technicians and Project managers prepare to assemble and hoist a custom fabricated and professionally engineered hydro-test water filling line as a part of the fill and drain system. In this hydro-test situation the entire NCS Fluid Handling Systems teams experience and depth was called upon. NCS Fluid Handling Systems team designed a one of a kind system that had NCS Fluid Handling Systems procure the only vertical turbine pumps of their kind in North America, all submersible electric support equipment, design and manufacture a custom hydrotesting fill and drainage system, and install all this inside and outside the tank and tank terminal area. What was so unique about the design and operation of this hydro-test, beyond being the largest tank of its kind in Canada and the second largest in the world, this hydro-test and drainage of test water had to be performed through the roof connections only and …. oh yeah 140' in the up to the tank top.
