Flooding, Dewatering and Water Management

Flooding has many impacts. It endangers everything around us.  Runoff causes soil erosion and sediment deposition which can affect spawning grounds for fish and other wildlife. Prolonged high floods can delay traffic in areas with limited elevation. Floods can interfere with drainage and economic use of lands, such as farming. Structural damage can occur in bridges, bank and sewer lines and other structures within floodways.
